Howard Boone Jr., seen here in a 2010-2011 WCAP broadcast, was critically injured in a shooting incident in Columbia, South Carolina on Sunday, March 18. Boone, 23, was one of three innocent bystanders injured by gunfire. In addition to WCAP, he was a member of JROTC during his time at Broughton. He is currently a student at St. Augustine’s University.
