Tom Brady wins his seventh ring

Tom Brady, as arguably the greatest quarterback to ever play in the NFL, clinched his seventh career Super Bowl title on Sunday, February 7. Brady made the move to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this past offseason, a team that has had little success in recent years. Despite their cold streak during the regular season, Brady led the Buccaneers to the Super Bowl where they then defeated the defending champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, 31-9. Brady is no doubt the most accomplished player to ever play in the NFL. With four Super Bowl MVPs, three NFL MVPs, two Offensive POY awards, and many more achievements.

Brady’s Superbowl performance was extremely impressive, throwing for 201 yards and three touchdowns as well as completing 21 of his 29 pass attempts. Brady connected with former Patriots teammate and current Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski in the end zone on two separate occasions during the game. Tom Brady’s performance ultimately led the Buccaneers to their first Superbowl title since 2003.

This ring makes Brady the single player with the most Superbowl wins of all time, and he now has more rings than any NFL franchise has. Brady’s impressive career, along with the fact that he just won the Superbowl, leaves many wondering if Brady will stay true to his claim to play next year no matter what happens during playoffs.

In his former years, Brady had a hot streak playing with the New England Patriots and Coach Bill Bellicheck. Many criticized him for leaving the Patriots and trying to go to the Buccaneers, a team that has not had much luck with success in recent years, and do the same thing he had been doing with the Patriots in recent years.

All in all, Tom Brady has made history this year with the Buccaneers, winning the seventh ring of his career and it will be exciting to see what the future holds for him and his career in the NFL.
